The farmhouse is placed to enjoy the vast expanse of farm views. Entering the farm, the road circles lead one to the porch area steps. One enters the living room with an open dining and kitchen space. The living room has a wooden sliding folding door with coloured stained glasses, which opens into a porch just beside the swimming pool.
SHRAMDAAN is a retail store and exhibition space for handloom garments manufactured by ‘HATHKARGHA’- which is an initiative started to skill rural and tribal people in the traditional craft of hand weaving fabrics. It has been started with a vision to improve employability and earning capacity of rural population and with an aim to ensure fair compensation to the weaver. This is the fifth and the largest showroom of Shramdaan in central India.
All the wooden doors and windows from the old structure were refurbished into a unique full height window panel with a small European style balcony enhancing the indoors with beautiful light through its stained glass windows while completely transforming the exterior elevation of the building
The structure is a semi-open pavilion sitting on a square base, designed as the family section of a popular restaurant.
