All the wooden doors and windows from the old structure were refurbished into a unique full height window panel with a small European-style balcony enhancing the indoors with beautiful light through its stained glass windows while completely transforming the exterior elevation of the building.
The design brief was to convert a structure previously used as a guest house with small, dingy rooms into a spacious, well lit, airy home for a family of five.
The concrete staircase and the adjoining wall was taken down and replaced with a visually lightweight in fabrication bringing in ample amount of light and ventilation to central core of the house.
The kid’s room is a large space that gives them ample room to play and jump around while also acting as a multipurpose room when needed.
